Admiralty Engineering is a civil engineering business owned and operated by Gary Jenkins, P.E. The business was started in January of 2005 following a move to Otis Orchards, Washington, a small community just east of Spokane. Mr. Jenkins previously worked for nearly 10 years with Toner-Nordling & Associates, Inc., a private consulting firm in Juneau, Alaska, where he gained extensive experience in a wide variety of projects (see “Services”). Our goal is to provide quality engineering services in a responsive and responsible fashion, with an emphasis on providing designs that are both sound and constructible. A common frustration from the construction community is designs that do not take into consideration the difficulty or cost of constructing what is designed. Our approach is to meet with the client and discuss the various options available and to agree upon a design approach that meets the engineering requirements and makes sense from a construction perspective. Additionally, we welcome continued communication throughout the design phase so that we both remain on the same page with regard to design issues. Admiralty Engineering has professional engineering licenses in three states: Alaska, Washington and Idaho. We look forward to providing our clients with quality civil engineering services.
